A lil' bit about me ...

I am Lori Jean. And I have been baking/cooking since I was about... oh, 6 years old. (Thanks Mom - for trusting me and teaching me!)

All recipes posted on this blog have been tested and tasted in my kitchen (and all photos are taken by yours truly). While some of these food ideas were created by other chefs or home cooks I fully believe in giving credit where credit is due... afterall, they didn't HAVE to share them with us! We thank them!

So take a journey with me. I am learning. Teach me something by leaving a comment. Or learn along with me and ask questions.

And on a personal note: I love to read, cook, bake, write, be real with good friends, laugh with my family, take pictures, learn from other people, take road trips and spend time with my hero-of-a-hubby. Life is good!

What's the SoCal weather like today?
